National Centre for Craft and Design Residency

As part of the company I co-founded with Laura Mabbutt 'Making Up Your Street'. We ran a week long residency at the National Centre for Craft and Design.

The theme of the residency was 'Repair'. We brought lots of waste materials and broken objects in, and throughout the week we helped visitors create what they wanted out of the materials and objects. As well as us having time to repair the objects in a creative way.

To the right are some of the images from the residency.

We learnt a lot from our time at NCCD, and tried to bring along as much equipment as we could. Which included metalworking, woodworking, printing and sewing equipment, including sewing machines. We also had CAD software and a 3D printer.
