Seagulls of the South
The 'Snowdogs by the Sea' Sculpture Trail, was the first Wild in Art trail I applied for. My design was sponsored by an individual in memory of a family member.
The design was inspired by the antics of seagulls. Some people love them, some people hate them. Though the seaside wouldn't sound the same without the sound of the seagull.
Seagulls of the South was placed along the seafront, with the beach and sea in the background. A perfect location with amazing sunrise and sunsets as a backdrop.
The design was also chosen for the header of the local paper the Argus, on one of the days of the first week, to promote the trail. Seagulls of the South sold for £6,500 in aid of Martlets Hospice.
