The Big Sleuth - Wildlife Detective

The Wildlife Detective Bear was part of the Big Sleuth Sculpture trail in Birmingham. The idea behind the design was to encourage the public to go out and find and study nature. This bear is prepared for all weathers and has lots of equipment to help him find nature, including compass, maps, rucksack, pens, flask and binoculars.

The Wildlife Detective Bear was sponsored by London Midland Railway and was placed in the railway station in Sutton Coldfield.

Wildlife Detective was also chosen to be one of the bears featured on the merchandise for the Big Sleuth Trail. He was featured on mugs, pens, coasters and badges. He was also turned into masks that were given out to passengers by London Midlands railway.

Wildlife Detective was sold for £1,800 in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital.
