I have recently expanded my practice in this area, in the past I have been involved in many sculpture trails throughout the UK. Each sculpture is handpainted in acrylic and generally have a wildlife theme, especially butterflies. At the end of each trail the sculptures are auctioned for a local charity. So far my painting has raised over £85,000 for charity. As part of the trails my work has also been turned into mugs, pens, masks and tea towels. Even though these are huge canvases my paintings are made of small and intricate parts which often relates the the place where it is situated.
Recently I have moved into painting murals both outside and inside which range inside. This is a much larger scale than I was previously used to painting. I have also started to paint banners for organisations as part of the Miners Gala.
